The Appellants appeared before the Court of Resident Magistrate of Coast Region at Kibaha in where they faced two counts, namely, unlawful possession of Government Trophies and leading Organized Crime contrary to the law. The trial court found the Appellants guilty in both counts. They were convicted and sentenced each to imprisonment for twenty years. In addition, each was sentenced to pay a fine of Tshs. 850 000,000. The Appellants’ appeal to the High Court to challenge the findings of the trial court was dismissed, hence this appeal.
