The Respondent lodged a preliminary objection challenging
the legality of the jurat of attestation in the affidavit supporting the
notice of motion in an application for review arguing that the affidavit in
support of the notice of motion was defective in as much as it did not show in
the jurat of attestation the place where the affidavit was made and this
was a contravention of section 8 of the Notaries Public and Commissioners for
Oaths Act [Cap 12 R.E. 2002].
