The Appellant was convicted and sentenced to a prison term
of thirty years’ imprisonment for rape in the District Court of Nachingwea. He
appealed to the High Court attacking the decision of the trial court arguing
that there was no evidence of sperms from the accused in victim’s vagina
and that the court convicted him on the uncorroborated evidence of the
complainant.
