Dissatisfied by the decision of the Tanga District Land and Housing Tribunal upholding the move of the first Respondent of dividing the Appellant’s plot of land held under a right of occupancy and giving part of it to the second Respondent who was also granted a right of occupancy he appealed to the High Court. After being allocated the plot of land the second Respondent developed it by putting up a permanent structure. The Tribunal decided that the Appellant should be compensated and allocated another plot.
