The Appellant was charged with and convicted of
housebreaking and stealing. He was sentenced to 3 years and 12 months
respectively. Dissatisfied with the trial court’s decision he appealed to the
High Court. At the High Court he challenged the trial court which relied on
uncorroborated to convict him; he also attacked the trial court by relying on
hearsay evidence and convicting him without proof of housebreaking.
