The Appellants were charged and convicted with two counts of
armed robbery and theft of two cattle in the District Court. Dissatisfied, they
unsuccessfully appealed to the High Court, hence, this appeal. It was alleged
by PW1 that he was beaten during the robbery and subsequently hospitalised for
one week before he was called at the police station and managed to identify two
of the Appellants after the identification parade.
