The Appellants were charged with and convicted of the
offences of robbery with violence and conspiracy to commit an offence. Their
appeal to the High Court was not successful. They lodged a further appeal to
the Court of Appeal on one main ground that the learned judge erred in
upholding the decision of the trial court whose conviction was based on visual
identification of a single witness.
