The Appellants were charged, convicted and sentenced by the
High Court of the offence of murder contrary to section 196 of the Penal Code
[Cap 16 R.E. 2002]. Aggrieved by the conviction and sentence, hence this
appeal. During the trial the assessors were allowed to cross examine all the
prosecution witnesses. After the said cross examination, the prosecution was
allowed to re-examine the prosecution witnesses.
