MULILENGE MUKOBAMYONDI KAMEKA v. THE DIRECTOR OF IMMIGRATION SERVICES AND ANOTHER

On 27^th January 2011, the applicant received a letter dated 20^th January 2011 from the 1^st Respondent, the Director of Immigration Services that declared him not a citizen of the United Republic of Tanzania. The applicant thus desires to move this court to grant him leave to file an application for prerogative orders of certiorari, prohibition and mandamus against the 1^st Respondent’s declaration. The applicant is also praying for an interim injunction that would restrain the Respondents from deporting him to the Democratic Republic of Congo pending determination of his application for leave. The Respondents resist the application. They are thus praying that the application be struck out with costs.
