The Appellant was charged with the offence of murder. He raised the defence of provocation which was rejected by the Court. He was convicted and sentenced to suffer death by hanging. Dissatisfied by the conviction and sentence he appealed to the Court of Appeal contending that his defence of provocation was wrongly rejected by the trial court.
