The Respondent successfully sued the Appellant for breach of the law and contractual duties arising from the banker-customer contractual relationship existing between them in the High Court of Zanzibar. The Respondent vide its reply to the WSD filed a preliminary objection raising three grounds based on the defective WSD. The Court sustained the preliminary objection on all points. Finally, the court entered default judgment for the Respondent granting all the reliefs prayed for in the plaint. Aggrieved by the judgment and decree of the High Court, the Appellant has now appealed to this Court.
