The Appellant was charged of grievous harm contrary to the law in the District Court of Masasi at Masasi. He was convicted and sentenced to seven (7) years term of imprisonment. He was also ordered to pay the victim Tshs. 3, 000,000/= as compensation for the injuries sustained. Dissatisfied, the Appellant has appealed to this court.
