The High Court in Criminal Appeal No. 87 of 2010, made an order summarily rejecting the applicants’ appeal from a decision in Criminal Appeal No. 444 of 2008. Subsequently, the applicants lodged a joint Notice of Motion under rule 10 of the Tanzania Court of Appeal Rules, 2009 (the Rules) purportedly moving this Court for an order extending time within which to appeal to the High Court out of time.
