The Appellant instituted and won a case in the District Land
and Housing Tribunal at Mwanza against eleven respondents including the
respondents in this Appeal. Aggrieved the Respondents appealed to the High
Court and won the appeal. The Appellant dissatisfied with the decision of the
High Court, filed this appeal with this Court. In the appeal this Court
considered, among others, the appropriateness of the procedure in tendering and
admitting documentary evidence in the trial Tribunal.
