This appeal was instituted by way of a document titled
“Petition of Appeal”. Then the petition set out the grounds of appeal, etc.
Nowhere were any of the parties mentioned by name. This format caught the eye
of the Respondent’s advocates, who raised, by way of a written notice, a
preliminary objection containing two grounds.
